Prescott Trailblazers Attend Holiday Shows In BransonPublished Wednesday, November 29, 1995 in the Nevada County PicayuneForty-four Prescott Trailblazers went to see the Christmas shows in Branson, Mo., on November 18. When they arrived in Branson, they had reservations at the Stage Door Canteen at the Lawrence Welk Resort for lunch. Saturday afternoon the group went to the Moon River Theatre to see Andy Williams' Christmas show. The Trailblazers had reservations Saturday night at the Will Rogers Theatre to see Dino's Christmas Extravaganza. Sunday afternoon they had reservations at the Grand Palace Theatre to see Radio City Music Hall Christmas spectacular starring The Rockettes. A devotional was given Sunday morning on the bus by Ann Oliver. Those making the trip from Prescott were: tour director -- Sybil Sherman, Bobbie Gautsche, Polly Phillips, Bobbie Brown, Betty Dickerson, Julie Stockton, Dawn McKinnon, Allison Glass, Derald and Vicki Glass, Curtis Lee and Mary Johnson, Allene Spencer, Betty Turner, Billie Ridling, Judy Shackelford, Betty Cagle, Audra Honea, Georgia White, Mary Loe, Virginia Easterling, Ann Oliver, Marie Eley, Mattie Jean Atkins, Jeanne Taylor, Bud Vandiver, Derald Williams, Mariam Purtle and Gertie Meador. Out-of-towners included: Joy Clark of Texarkana; Bobbie Hendrix of Antoine; Mary Joe Gregory, Dexter and Earline Butler of Bodcaw; Bonnie Barham of Cale; Irma Sue Purtle and Lucile Armstrong of Sutton; Lucy Glass, Ruby Wicker and Margie Reed of Caney; Rose Caler of Ashdown; Mildred Johnson and Phyllis Butler of Little Rock; and Julia King of Shreveport, La.
