It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Just take a ride through town and you'll agree. Several of the businesses are already lighting up and others will soon follow. The lighting wonderment culminates at the courthouse, of course, with its brilliant array of tiny lights outlining the building, surrounding trees, and other objects. It is something the community and county can be proud of for many years to come.

If you haven't already, be sure to mark you calendar for the following events:

  • December 8, Christmas Open House (4:00-6:00 p.m.) The following merchants are participating this year: Betty's Floral Shop, Fore's Department Store, Holly's Health Mart, Prescott Flowers and Gifts, Prescott Hardware Company, The Fashion Shop, Town and Country Fashions, Granny's Dolls and Collectibles.
  • December 8, Christmas on the Square (6:00-8:45 p.m.) Enjoy an evening of music on the courthouse steps. The program is as follows:
    • 6:00-6:30 Prescott High School Band
