Caravan To LRPublished Wednesday, December 6, 1995 in the Nevada County PicayunePrescott Curley Wolf fans are encouraged to join the Prescott Athletic Booster Club in a big caravan that will be going to Little Rock's War Memorial Stadium to show support for the Curley Wolves against the Nashville Scrappers for the Class AA championship. A tailgate party and pep rally will be held at 11:00 a.m. on the east side parking lot of the stadium. Everyone is invited, but you will have to bring your own food. A large grill will be available for cooking. Prescott fans will need to enter the stadium on the west side, however, as the Wolves are the home team. The club will organize the caravan at the First Methodist Church parking lot at 8:00 a.m. so everyone who did not decorate their vehicle at home may have the opportunity to do so. At around 8:30 the group of buses and private vehicles will pull in behind the Curley Wolves as they leave. Even if you cannot make the trip, try to be along Main Street to show support for your home team. Let's go, Curley Wolves!!! Others wanting to join the caravan and needing more information may call Charlene Koger at 887-2550 or 887-5181. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
