tions to the court will be Feb. 29, 1996. He also said Hale must comply with motions for discovery from the state by Jan. 8.

Once the hearing was over, Haltom said Griffin will make sure both sides are ready by July 22. "He's a no nonsense guy," he said.

Hale said there are a lot of unanswered questions about what occurred at the crime scene when the two were found. He said they were killed in one location and moved to another where their bodies were found. "I need some help investigating this," he said.

"I need someone to do the legwork and check this out. I need a medical expert to compare the blood and DNA to see if it's true."

Hale said this case began three years ago, when Lewis and Clark were killed, and they (the state) supposedly lost the blood sample.

He contends the samples tested are contaminated and corrupt and shouldn't be admissible as evidence.

Hale said Griffin is fair-minded, but his client is not happy with the delay. "He (Dansby) wants to get it over and done with and put it behind him. He say's he's not guilty, and he's believable."
