The Nevada County 4-H O-Rama was held Saturday, June 5, at the Extension office in Prescott. The twelve participants competed in bicycle, bait casting, B-B gun, vocal-performing arts, entomology- collection, and illustrated talks covering animal and veterinary sciences.

Of the twelve, nine were eligible to compete in the Southwest District O-Rama held Friday, June 18 at Lake Hamilton.

To compete in the district 4-H O-Rama, participants must be nine years of age or older and place first in their category at the county 4-H O-Rama.

At the Southwest District competition, five of the participants placed in the top five of their activity with three of those participants placing second. All of the 4-H participants in both the local and district O-Rama's represented Nevada County in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
