Therin WilsonPublished Wednesday, January 10, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneTherin D. Wilson, 68, of Prescott died Friday, January 5, 1996, in the VA Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Born September 8, 1927, in Sheridan he was a tow boat captain for Dixie Carriers, veteran of World War II, the Korean War and was in the Merchant Marines. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Onalaska, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Abbie Wilson of Prescott; a daughter, Lisa Adkison of South Lake, Texas; a brother, Conrad Wilson; four sisters, Era Mae Weeks, Peggy Cusick and Gean Simmons and Dorothy Nell Chrestman, all of Benton; and three grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday, January 9, at Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home chapel in Prescott with Toby Slough officiating.
