Nubbin Hill

We were all blessed with rain this past week. Garden's sure did need a little water.

Irene Cornelius was taken to St. Michael's Wednesday after she fell and broke her hip. She had surgery Thursday morning. It went fine, but she will need to go through rehabilitation for two weeks.

Kim Overton, Al Formby and myself enjoyed Sunday services at Morris Baptist Church. It was fourth Sunday in June homecoming, special music was the Messengers of Hope. Bro. Tal Webb brought the message.

Tom Cornelius visited his mother, Irene Cornelius, in Texarkana at St. Michael's. He said she is doing fine.

Congratulations to the newly weds of our community. Jake Cornelius and Tera Adams were married Saturday in Texarkana. They are living here in Nubbin Hill. Welcome Ya'll.

Jack, Jimmie and Jesna Cornelius, Reggie Lamb, B.J. Hampton, Donna Carter, Brandon Tullis and John Cornelius, all from Nubbin Hill, attended the wedding. Also attending were Pearl Payne from Prescott, Pearl's daughter, Becky, Andra and Shay, and Bobby and Don Dennis from El Dorado. There were other friends and relatives who also attended.
