One of our residents, James Dennis, went home to be with the Lord on June 24. James was a very kind and gentle man and he will be missed by many. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family.

Friday, June 25, a birthday party was held for those having a birthday in June. Residents celebrating were Alta Belk, Ad Evans, Charlie Gulley, Ruby Irvine, Louis Smith and staff members Connie McKinnon, Karla Wilson, Mae Helen Gulley and Phyllis Neff. A good time was had by all enjoying cake and ice cream.

With the Fourth of July weekend coming up we would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to associate Corine Smith in the loss of her mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our directors of nurses, Vicki Marbury, had oral surgery last week. She is doing much better and is able to be back at work.
