Odell Toliver

Odell Toliver, 74, of Seattle, Wash., formerly of Blevins and Prescott, died Saturday, December 30, 1995.

Born January 18, 1921, in Blevins, he was the son of the late Earnest and Elnora Toliver and a member of Ward Chapel AME Church in Prescott. He graduated from McRae High School, was retired from the U.S. Army and the University of Washington custodial department. He was a member of Curry C.M.E. Church in Seattle.

Survivors include four children, Bobbi Sims of Seattle, Wash., Odell Toliver Jr. of Fairfield, Calif., Twyla Toliver of Hayward, Calif., and Myrtice Ahmed of Seattle; one stepdaughter, Lula Simmons of Seattle; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Services were held Thursday, January 4, at Curry Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Seattle with Rev. James Smith officiating. Burial was in Abbey View Cemetery in Seattle under the direction of Bleitz Funeral Home of Seattle.
