At Prescott First United Methodist Church

This coming Sunday, January 21, the United Methodist Women will conduct the 11:00 a.m. worship service at First United Methodist Church in Prescott. The speaker will be Barbara Grimes Lewis.

Rev. Lewis serves as a part time pastor to two churches in the Batesville district. She is a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. She has served the church in various capacities, including Sunday school teacher, UMY counselor, music director for Quapaw Quarter UMC and newsletter editor for the Arkansas Area Singles Ministry Task Force. Currently she is a member of a RAIN Care Team.

Rev. Lewis is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University and is employed by Boatman's Trust Company in Little Rock.

Rev. Lewis is the daughter of Ben and Dorothy Grimes of Magnolia, formerly of Prescott. She is the granddaughter of J.T. and Ruth Grimes and Willie and Allie Barnes, all former Nevada County residents.
