To Honor Albert HickeyPublished Wednesday, January 17, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneA special memorial dedication ceremony will be held this coming Saturday in Emmet for Albert Hickey, who passed away in December. Hickey, who was a service station owner in Emmet for several years, was an antiques dealer when he died. In addition he did a lot of voluntary work with the city, including the voluntary fire department. He was also an auxiliary deputy sheriff for several years. The ceremony Saturday will take play at Emmet City Hall at 2:00 p.m. A special tree planting will take place in his memory. Everyone is invited.
