Ferman Jones

Ferman Jones, 85, of Little Rock, died Sunday, January 21, 1996, in St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock.

Born April 10, 1910, in Prescott, he was the son of Lewis Jefferson Jones and Florma Ann Hooks Jones, a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church, a retired carpenter and member of Carpenters Local 690.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Jean Jones of Little Rock; five sons, Dallas Hershal Jones of Mabelvale, John Perry Jones of Buckner, Arvin Edgar Jones of Prescott, Kenneth Wayne Jones of Redfield, Ferman M. Jones Jr. of North Little Rock; a stepson, Jackie Shepherd of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Alice Lawrence of Shreveport, La., and Alma Renfro of Homer, La.; two brothers, Glenn Dale Jones of Summerall, Miss., and James Jones of Baytown, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and three step grandchildren.

Gravesdie services and burial were held Monday, January 22, at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Rev. Robert Frances officating under the direction of Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
