Devils Finish Second In Regional Tournament To Stephens
The Gurdon Go-Devils got another opportunity Saturday night to upset the Stephens Roadrunners, but more determined than ever the Roadrunners won the Class AA Region 7 basketball tournament, defeating the Go-Devils 69-48.
CADDO HILLS 62, HORATIO 60
In the first finals game Saturday night Caddo Hills edged Horatio 62-10.
GURDON 78, DIERKS 46
It was no contest in Gurdon's first game, played Thursday night in the last game. Gurdon took Dierks, 78-46.
GURDON 77, MOUNT IDA 62
In the semi-finals Friday night, Gurdon took control of the game against Mount Ida early and won it 77-62.
HORATIO 60, LADY DEVILS 46
In the first game for the Gurdon senior girls the Horatio Lady Lions found the net and took a 60-47 win over the Lady Go-Devils. This ended any hope for the Gurdon senior girls.
