annual Gurdon Forest Festival. The festival will be held Saturday, October 31, on Main Street in Gurdon, according to Freddie Horne, festival coordinator.

There will be a booster basketball meeting October 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cabe Middle School library. All interested individuals are urged to attend.
Golden Oldies
We ladies at the Gurdon Senior Adult Center are still making crafts. Mrs. Tommy Rhodes has some terrific ideas. We have made refrigerator magnets, baskets, Christmas ornaments and wreaths. We have already sold some items.
Club News
'If you want to feel right just count your blessings' was the Red Springs Extension Homemakers eye opener at the September 17 meeting hosted by Elizabeth Wilson. The club felt rich with honors received during the county fair.
